Begin your journey in Hobart with a stay at MACq 01 Hotel, a luxury waterfront hotel in the city’s prime location. Offering sweeping views of the harbour and Kunanyi / Mount Wellington, you can enjoy the best of Hobart’s rich culture, natural beauty and culinary delights.
The following morning, you’ll be picked up from MACq 01 Hotel by our team and transferred to Triabunna Wharf to travel to Maria Island for our Winter Escape Walk. Here, you will spend three days with us exploring pristine beaches, tall ancient forests and world heritage sites teeming with wildlife. Your evenings will be spent at the historic Bernacchi House in Darlington, where you can relax and unwind in pure comfort. Your stay is inclusive of all meals, snacks and beverages for the entire duration and is fully hosted by private guides.
Your adventure will continue beyond Maria Island back on the Tasmanian mainland with a two night stay at the stunning Saffire Freycinet, a Luxury Lodge of Australia. Situated on the edge of Tasmania’s Freycinet National Park, this award-winning all-inclusive luxury resort offers exclusive experiences to discover the area’s incredible natural wonders, people and produce. Take a guided hike through the pristine wilderness, explore the secluded coves along Great Oyster Bay, or simply relax on your private balcony and soak up the panoramic views of the Hazards Mountains. Or book yourself a restorative treatment at Spa Saffire. Palate restaurant has a reputation as one of Australia’s most revered fine dining restaurants, with tasting menus changing daily around what is available fresh from the water or paddock.
After your stay at Saffire Freycinet, you’ll then be transported back to Hobart. Here, you’ll say goodbye as you’re dropped off at Hobart Airport for the journey home, or you have the option to add on an additional night back where it all began at MACq 01 Hotel.
